O’Hare’s GastroPub

Great food and great people in Irish Pub

Since opening in October 1987 O’Hare’s GastroPub has become an institution for locals within the Steveston and Richmond area. We were the first pub in British Columbia to serve Guinness imported straight from Dublin – it is the perfect place to enjoy the perfect pint!

With 20 beers on tap, We offer the classics from Guinness to Canadian, as well as some great craft beers from the likes of Main St., Driftwood and Postmark.

We pride ourselves on serving a wide range of quality beverages along side a hearty offering of homemade food.

It’s the best place to have great craic* and enjoy some lighthearted mischief with friends and family. Your trip to Steveston is not complete without a visit to O’Hare’s.

What is a GastroPub?
A GastroPub concentrates on quality food. The name is a combination of pub and gastronomy and was coined in 1991 when David Eyre and Mike Belben took over The Eagle pub in Clerkenwell, London.  The concept of a restaurant in a pub reinvigorated both pub culture and British dining.

*Craic or crack is a term for fun, entertainment, and enjoyable conversation, particularly prominent in Ireland.
